The Six Finalists (and a Rumor) for Pinoy Idol 2008
There are now only six contenders for the title of Pinoy Idol!
After Penelope was eliminated this week, the six finalists are Warren Antig, Kid Camaya, Jayann Bautista, Gretchen Espina,Daryl Celis and Ram Chaves.
Here’s a teaser clip of this weekend’s Gala performance and elimination night:
The six will be battling it out to win a prize package worth P5.7 million, including 1 million pesos in cash from SM Supermalls, a management contract from GMA Artist Center, a recording contract from Sony-BMG, a brand new car, and a condo unit from Avida Towers in New Manila.
Nice prize, no? But here’s a juicy tidbit. I got it from the rumor mill that one finalist spent thousands of pesos (the figure quoted was P30,000) to keep himself in contention. In the end, his conscience bothered him and he wanted to be the one eliminated instead of Penelope. Is there any truth to this report? Hmmm, I can’t say at this point.
Did Penelope deserve the elimination? Will the truth eventually come out? Will this rumor affect the final outcome of Pinoy Idol?

Bakit ganon?.. Bakit si ESPINA? Bat pag andon magulang niya.. Di makapagsalita ng masama yung judges?.. Governor yung tatay eh.. Diba? Bat hindi matiratira ng mga judges, press si gretchen? At bakit si Warren antig pa yung sinasabihang gumastos.. Si espina kaya? Magkano kaya ang inuubos?.. LAOS naman siya.. I mean laos silang lahat.. Lalo na si ram chavez? Parang TANGA.. Ang LAOS niya.. alam mo malaking karangalan ng mga pinoy na makagawa ng ganitong programa kasi naipapkita natin na mga pinoy kaya din nating gawin ang mga ginagawa ng mga kano at mabuhay kayong lahat na mga bumubuo sa programang ito.proud ako sa inyo kaya kahit sino man ang manalo sa inyo ok parin sakin kasi pare pareho lang namn tayong mga pinoy e.but i want darren win hehehehe… thanks a lot mabuhay pinoy idol.

alam nyo kayo nalang mag judges e ganon talaga..mga ka puso para naman sa kanila din iyon…sa mga judge,s naman wag po masyado masasakit na salita ang bibitawan nyo..hinay-hinay ok…..

oo nga nho? dapat sana hindi c jolina at ogie yong judges . Yong mga hosts sobrang ok , pero jolina at ogie hindi talaga bagay sa kanila . mas sobrang ok c jaya at regine.
