Tracking the internet traffic trends of Filipino blog readers
One unique challenge to blogging on Filipina Soul is finding the best time to post. See, the Philippines is on the other side of the Pacific and the time zone is exactly opposite of the Eastern USA, where I am based.
Tracking blog traffic for Filipina Soul gives me a hint that our Philippine-based readers visit the blog when we’re asleep. But when is the best time to publish posts that I take advantage of those readers getting into our blog?
YugaTech answered that for me! Abe Olandres tracked the stats logs of over 3,000 Filipino blogs listed in Pinoy Top Blogs.
Here is what he found:
Simply analysed - the chart shows that traffic peaks three times in 24 hours:
right before 11 a.m., (Philippine-time)
after lunch at 1 p.m.
at night from 11-12 midnight.
So tip to fellow bloggers interested in capturing the Philippine blogosphere? Publish your posts around eleven in the morning.
