Why ‘it feels great to be Pinoy’
Started by a meme from Macalua and found via the Alleba blog, I thought we (FS readers and writers) might want to participate on why you feel these days…
It’s just feels great to be Pinoy!
Here are my three:
1. Filipinos are hardworking. Despite the times,whether local or OFWs, and especially to support their families, you will always see a pinoy trying his best to bring home the ‘lechon’.
2. We bend, we don’t break. Adaptation is one of our greatest traits, I think. We know how to make light of dark moments, and laugh about it. We find humor in everything, which I love most about being pinoy.
3. We’re wising up. Maybe the latest elections has something to do with this, when we voted into position public servants who know what they’re doing and can bring the country to a better place. We’re just tired of broken promises by old ‘trapos’, celebrities and interest-groups.
